Springbrook National Park

A little taste of heaven perhaps lies about 60 kilometers away from Nerang on the Gold Coast Highway. Another day out with Joanne and Noah bushwalking along the Purlingbrook Falls circuit was a wonderful way to idle away the time. Where we up to a 6 km walk? Was Noah? You bet! Youth was on his side, but not ours. A breathtaking walk with views back towards the Gold Coast. Yet we seemed so far removed from the hustle and bustle below amidst tall grey gums, luscious rainforest and the chorus of bellbirds, eastern rosellas and pardalotes.

We were rewarded by coffee and smooth fudge at the fudge shop in the eclectic township of Springbrook. Great memories are worth the effort.
